Pet sitting in Barcelona by a lifetime dog owner and lover:)

My name is Layla, and I'm 19 years old. Growing up, dogs were always an important part of my life. From early childhood until now, my family has always had dogs at home, which means I have spent years learning how to care for them, understand their behavior, and build strong relationships with them. Because of this lifelong experience, being around dogs feels completely natural to me, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy rather than see as a responsibility. I currently have two dogs of my own, one of which is a rescue dog. Adopting a rescue dog has taught me patience, empathy, and adaptability. Every dog has a different personality, background, and set of needs, and I have learned how to respond calmly and confidently in different situations. Working with a rescue dog has helped me become comfortable handling dogs who may feel anxious, shy, or energetic, and it has strengthened my ability to build trust with animals over time. In terms of practical experience, I am confident in the daily responsibilities that come with pet care. I have extensive experience walking dogs safely in different environments, feeding them according to schedules and dietary needs, ensuring they stay hydrated, and maintaining clean living spaces. I also understand the importance of playtime, exercise, and attention for a dog’s physical and emotional well-being. I pay close attention to animals’ behavior and body language, which helps me notice when something may be wrong or when a dog needs extra care or comfort. I understand that pets are family members, and I take the responsibility of caring for them seriously. I want owners to feel confident and reassured knowing their pets are in safe, caring, and capable hands.
